OUR AIMS

Perhaps many of us have forgotten how it felt when we were young. When just walking to school was often an adventure. Those were days when we were ready to burst out laughing at any moment. When reading that special book was such a thrill that our hearts beat faster.

Perhaps many setbacks have made us more skeptical than we once were. Perhaps a little more cautious. Perhaps so much so that we now warily steer a middle course and don’t veer off even a little to the left or to the right. We may be letting debts, losses and social chains drag us down.

When last did you pick up a handful of good soil and let it trickle down between your fingers? Do you remember that feeling? What about coming across an apple tree, while on a walk and tasting one of its delicious fruits?

Whatever is happening to you, be aware, at all times, that life is a journey and that we here on this site want to be with you on your walk. Yes, we’ll be with you as long as you need a companion and on the way, we’ll talk.

Come, there’s much to be discussed and many thoughts to be exchanged. There’s some exploring that we could do together and above all, there are many joys to be discovered.

Come, let’s walk with joy.

DO YOU REALLY RESPOND TO YOUR INNER INSPIRATIONS?

To care about people is an admirable attribute. After all, compassion, consideration and courtesy are the fundamentals that make relationships work. At the same time, however, you may have nagging doubts about whether you’ve risen to your greatest

heights. It’s that eternal dilemma. Do we brush those disturbing but challenging thoughts aside and say something like “OK…but not now…maybe tomorrow…I’m kind of busy right now”?

Do we read enough and discuss enough of what we’ve read? Do we go on the internet to look up details of works of art and read about some great artist? Do we listen to that brilliant new violinist? Is there a mountain that we’ve wanted to climb? Have we dreamed of studying an ancient culture but never gave the subject our full attention? Wouldn’t the design or possession of cultural jewelry release ancient passions that have lain slumbering deep within ourselves for far too long?

How do you feel about your own self-realization? Have you been nurturing or perhaps given free reign to that sparkling core that lies at the heart of your being or has something stopped you? Let’s exchange some thoughts, shall we?

ARE WE LIVING IN TWO ENVIRONMENTS?

It seems that during our life times, we’re beginning to find realize with some shock that we no longer exist in our familiar one world but in two. We now seem to be in two worlds and they appear to be in increasing states of conflict. If this is really so, then it must be very important to become aware of and understand the natures of these worlds.

In my mind, I see the two environments as being something like this.
One world is the outside physical one. Its environment seems to be becoming increasingly chaotic and harsh. It’s a world where more frequently slabs of polar ice crash into the sea and these crashes are symbolic of the declining standards of tolerance and ethics all around us. We’re seeing wetlands and rain forests destroyed at a devastating rate. Large scale State corruption seems to be the order of the day.

The other world represents our own inner selves. T
here is a deep spiritual yearning within each of us and it is clear that this yearning is being felt more and more throughout the whole world. It seems that millions of people all over the globe, in many different countries and with many different cultural backgrounds and ambitions, are feeling a desperate need to get into touch with their inner spiritual needs.

All around us we are seeing catastrophic weather patterns, devastating religious conflicts and world wide cultural hatred has never seemed so intense. Yet at the same time, there is a deep spiritual yearning within each of us. This yearning is felt throughout the whole world.

We look for truths and sometimes find them in the strangest places. I often go into the bushveld, just to be near animals and birds and while there to look at the most wonderful varieties of trees, shrubs, grasses, rivers, ravines and meadows. These gifts from God that remind us of His eternal message to us and remind us of the journey that He has asked us to embark on.
Do you too want to feel total joy deep down within you and to share it with others?
